Tauro is a fishing village in the south of Gran Canaria and belongs to the municipality of Mogan. It has approx. 800 inhabitans. Located directly at the coast. It is about 75 km from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, about 50 km from the airport and 15 km from Maspalomas. It is a popular place for German and Scandinavian residents. Good infrastructure. Sparsely  tourism.
