Fataga is a valley and a village on the island of Gran Canaria. It is situated in the interior of the island at 600 m above sea level and about 15 km from the coast and belongs to the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Other distances are: 70 km from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and 45 km from the airport. Sparsely inhabitants and tourism.

Fataga is a milestone in Gran Canaria. Several houses retain their traditional canary style, in its old and narrow streets paved with stones. That is why they have a World Heritage nomination. The Fataga valley is called the "valley of a thousand palms".

The beaches nearby are:

Playa del Inglés, Maspalomas and San Agustín, all about 15 km far afield.
