Castillo del Romeral is a small coast city in the southeast of Gran Canaria, with an estimated population of 4.000 inhabitants. It belongs to the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. It lies about 35 km from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 12 from the airport, 16 from Maspalomas and direct at the coast.

On October they celebrate the “Fiesta Virgen del Carmen”,  and final September initial October in honour of "San Miguel".
